There is a conception of The Three Values in Buddhism. These are those corner stones which disciples put into the foundation of the stairway to perfection. The Three Values are:
Having chosen the path of self-improvement and Common Good, the person, first of all, tries to discover moral and spiritual guide-posts by which to learn to govern the own life and thus reach The Spiritual Wisdom. And as the new-born disciple cannot live right yet, but already does not want to act wrong, he or she begins to learn The Teaching giving the basic principles of living. So, how can we pass this Path? How can we reach all the deepness of The Teaching and assimilate its energy? The Teacher has answers, for He is living embodiment of The Teaching. He is the One leading a disciple from one life to another. He gives the strength and helps to overcome all obstacles with the best advice, because He walked this way Him-self. These are the three shelters of a chela. You can find here a lot of useful information on this subject. We believe that among our themes you will find the answers on your questions. Good luck! |
